I met Byron via LinkedIn before Christmas, and we instantly connected. Although we walked different paths in life, we share a similar past and present in the building industry.

Byron is the owner and founder of Waterproof Awareness, an education, training and consultancy business. He’s been involved in the construction game for over 20 years as a former wall and floor tiler. He’s also well known for his role as a waterproofer and teacher throughout his trade career.

I love that Byron is passionate about improving building practices and standards of quality to provide safer homes for the whole community. I deeply resonated with this as it is one of the critical reasons why I founded this podcast.

Byron has created waterproofing courses for certificate III trade level, registered building practitioners with Master Builders Victoria and his Australia-wide Waterproofing Success webinar series. This combination dramatically assists in delivering an elite training and waterproofing consultancy. Byron focuses on educating his clients and students to develop more knowledgeable skills, personal and professional development and implement innovations into their current practices.

I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did speaking with Byron and that you were able to get some takeaways that can help you strengthen your trade practices.   😀 🎧
