#27 From Numbers to Tiles: A Journey of Reinvention

In this episode, we delve into the inspiring story of Schannon Yodice ex-accountant who found her passion in the world of tiling. We explore her journey of self-discovery, overcoming challenges, and embracing a new career path that brings her fulfilment and joy.

In 2017, she left her hometown to move to Texas to start a general contracting business and invest in real estate. This led to finding a passion for tile as she couldn't find qualified labour in my area. She started seeking knowledge which led me to network with the best installers across the United States.

In August 2020, she quit an accounting job to fulfil my entrepreneurial itch and jump into tile contracting. She’s proud to say in the last year she has gained massive success based on the connections made. She also started an Instagram page to document her journey and inspire the younger generation to take on a trade and pursue the possibility that a trade can be an amazing career choice.

She now shares her journey as a tile contractor and has recently rolled out an online accounting firm to help small business owners in the construction industry.
