#40 Luca Lapenna: An Entrepreneur's Journey to Success & Mental Wellbeing

Luca is the Director of Aesthetic Tile & Stone, a tile installation company specialising in custom residential projects based in southeast Queensland. He is also the founder of The Tile Supply, a tile design showroom on the Gold Coast with an online store.

Luca started his journey in the tiling industry as an apprentice in 2007 and completed his apprenticeship in 2011. From the beginning, he had a strong vision of starting his tile company.

In 2012, he founded Aesthetic Tiling, which recently won the 2021 Australian Small Business Champion Award in the Trade Services category. Luca aimed to challenge the negative stereotypes associated with tradies and change people’s perceptions of them.

He takes pride in delivering quality service and has built well-established companies with many employees, including office staff, operations, supervision, and field technicians. Aesthetic Tile & Stone has built strong relationships across the industry, including tile supply outlets, private clients, builders, and developers.
